Ronnie Goodyer is an experienced publisher and has successfully run Indigo Dreams for many years. In this capacity he publishes poetry collections, anthologies, fiction and three magazines, one of which is now in its 12th year. Through his previous experience in ghost-writing, Celebrity Management and the small press market, he is perfectly placed to advise on layout and the technical requirements involved.

Ronnie has achieved great success as a widely-published and respected poet too, with hundreds of poems, sketches and articles published, including several as Featured Poet in quality magazines, plus appearances in galleries and exhibitions. Ronnie’s poetry has been selected for numerous anthologies, including Peace In Our Time for the Red Cross; DancingThrough ThePain (plus sketches)and Off The Wall for MIND; Flowers On A Shoestring for the ONE-TO-ONE Children's Fund; Review of Contemporary Poetry for The Stroke Association; Earth Love for Conservation charities; Pulling Funny Faces at the Dog for NSPCC; People’s Poet book of Book of Muddy Paws for animal sanctuaries; and Listening To The Birth of Crystals in aid of deaf children (he also designed the cover for this). He has been Poetry Editor of over 30 anthologiesincluding boho women peeling oranges, Bluechrome anthology 2004 and 2005 and bringing it all back home for Bluechrome and A Sporting Chance for Youth Sports UK. Ronnie also appeared alongside classic poets from the past in the Poetry on the Buses project, his poem on public transport, posters and in the resulting book.

Among his awards and accolades are Robooth Publications Open Poet Of The Year 2001; four-times winner of the Eclipse Poetry magazine readers’ choice; winner of 'Flora Day' poetry competition 2002; Cherrybite Publications Poet of the Year; bluechrome publishing Poet Of The Year 2003; and inaugural Coffee House Poetry competition. He was chosen by Cornwall County Council as poetry representative for the ‘Writing Doctor’s Surgery’ at the 6th Cornwall Book Festival 2004 and his poetry was displayed in the Visiting Dartmoor Exhibition by Dartmoor National Parks Authority. Solo collections include Within The Silence, Indigo Dreams, Lizard Reality, New Words From An Old Hat and The Way of the Dance. He is a popular adjudicator and was invited to be on the BBC Judging Panel for their Off By Heart competition screened in May 2009. He is also in demand as a well-respected Digital Artist

 











Dawn Bauling was born in Sheffield, England although spent much of her early life in the fields of Leicestershire. English graduate, librarian and unashamed book-sniffer, she has lived in Derby, Nottingham, Leeds, Leicester and Bedford, working in schools, universities and for the public library service in community libraries and for the mobile library service. This experience has proved invaluable in understanding the requirements of book design and presentation.

Her love of young people has led to over fifteen years working as a volunteer youth worker, setting up after-school clubs in Bedford and nearby villages. Before her present job she worked as Librarian at Sharnbrook Upper School, Bedfordshire, doing unusual things with books and encouraging young people to read great words and write even greater ones. She lives in Stoney Stanton, Leicestershire, with her partner Ronnie and loved dog Soxx, and works for Indigo Dreams Publishing, also editing Sarasvati and The Dawntreader magazines. Dawn started writing seriously in 2000 and enjoyed quick success with short stories and poetry, winning the Bedfordshire Prize and the Joyce Searle Prize for Poetry in 2004, giving readings at Bedford Corn Exchange and in libraries across the county. A regular contributor to and frequent prize-winner in Reach Poetry magazine, she has been included in many anthologies and poetry magazines including The National Poetry Anthology 2006, Bluechrome Anthology 2005, Boho Arrival, Bringing it all back home, The Interpreter’s House, The Dawntreader, Countryside Tales, In Country Heaven and Ice Blue Mornings (2008). One poem has been included on Solo Survivors’ ‘Poetry Off The Page’ CD, another has been made into a short film. She has a very successful first collection published with IDP - Loud Voices from a Quiet Child.
