"Indigo Dreams is fast establishing itself as a platform for new writing. Talisman by Jenny Hamlett has a lovely immediate quality, landscape poetry that not only communicates place, but with an ear for sound. Will Daunt's Powerless is another very fine choice from Indigo Dreams. This is mature writing, honed and considered; language deployed with skill and precision, reflection always balanced with just the right image. The Space Between Rain by Eileen Carney Hulme is another triumph for this emerging press. The poet carves out a wealth of spaces that open up emotional physical landscapes, beautifully understated, humane and lyrical."

Our poetry division commenced with the monthly publication Reach Poetry, details of which may be found under the 'Magazines' tab. Established for around 12 years, Reach Poetry is now joined by The Dawntreader and Sarasvati.
In addition to these, we also publish individual collections which we feel have a little something special to offer.
We generally approach those poets we admire, be they previously published or seeking their first published collection.
We do however appreciate that 1) We cannot be aware of all the exciting poets with a book worthy of publication and 2) We cannot publish all the poets we 'd like to!
If our doors were open to unsolicited manuscripts then we would be overwhelmed and unable to do justice to any submission. There are not enough hours in the day.
Our answer to this is a system of selection that simplifies the process. We have designed a poetry proposal form that gives enough information for us to read those manuscripts that stand out from the rest.
Our Publishing Enquiry Form - Poetry asks a series of relevant questions and requests a submission of 6 poems from the collection. The completed forms are considered at an Acquisitions Meeting and those of interest are contacted for the complete collection to be sent as a Word attachment, from which final decisions are made.
If you genuinely believe you have a collection that is worthy of publication then we would like to hear from you.

When fully completed, return to Indigo Dreams Publishing by email: publishing@indigodreams.co.uk
PLEASE NOTE: It is unlikely that your manuscript will be accepted unless you have previously been published in the poetry magazines run by the small presses.
