The Dawntreader is a quarterly 52 page perfect bound literary publicaton with an international readership which gives the opportunity to let the imagination run free.
The Dawntreader specialises in myth, legend; in the landscape, nature; spirituality and love; the mystic, the environment.
It fulfils a niche in the market, welcoming poetry, prose, articles and local legends.
The Dawntreader, like its sister publications Reach Poetry and Sarasvati receives no outside funding and relies totally on reader subscriptions. We believe that small press magazines provide a lifeblood for so many, and it is rewarding to receive comments such as these:
Egypt, rainbows, Arthur, Stonehenge, the Styx, the Olympians, clouds, Cornwall, Milkwood ... it's all there.
The Dawntreader offers a coherent collection of poetry themed on the environment, legend and spiritual. The writing quality is consistently high. Prose and short stories are also featured producing an interesting whole.
A very good read. Tina Negus
The Dawntreader is a very worthy successor to the late Moonstone and I would highly recommend it to lovers of all things magical, mystical, mythical, spiritual, terrestrial and extraterrestrial. It’s an entrancing read.
Denise Margaret Hargrave
I recommend The Dawntreader, it's poetry for the soul...Eileen Carney Hulme
